Indigo Road are very much new and hail from London. Songwriter Mark Herbert seems to have worked out a plan to write songs and invite guest vocalists to perform on the tracks. An interesting option and judging by this double A-side it's going to be a successful one. "Simple" is a beautiful acoustic track with an outstanding sound.

Soft soothing vocals and harmonies are hand in hand with some nice guitar parts, the little acoustic guitar middle 8 standing out most. "Goodbye to You" is contrasting to the first song and is an upbeat rock song. Again I salute the guitar work, not for a face melting solo (gladly we don't have one here) but for its simplicity and effectiveness within the song. The vocals demand respect from Heidi Jo Hines and I'm impressed by this collaboration between herself and Herbert. Released June 9th 2008.
