ImageIndependent record label Memphis Industries have announced details of a special anniversary gig. The London based label will be celebrating entering its teenage years by drawing together some of their favourite bands for one special gig, including The Go Team, Dutch Uncles and Sunderland's very own Field Music.

The one off gig will take place at London's Koko venue on the 30th November. An update on the Memphis Industry website said: "Having completely forgotten to celebrate our 10th anniversary in any style, we've decided to rectify this and draw together some of our latest and greatest bands together for one night only in a no way contrived 13th birthday celebration.

"So, all the way from Oklahoma Colourmusic bring their primal euphoric heaviness, followed by Dutch Uncles acclaimed chrome plated future pop. The mighty Field Music return to London for the first time in a year, having been working on their hugely anticipated new album, and the whole thing is topped off by The Go! Team's unique needles-in-the-red party starting experience."

Memphis Industries was originally established as a record label in 1998 by the brothers Ollie and Matt Jacob with the first EP release of the Vangelis/Axlerod hybrid Blue States. Thirteen years on, it is home to some of the most exciting and interesting artists in 2011.
Tickets for the gig on sale 10am Friday 1st July from here
