ImageHey Sholay's gig at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen will still take place this week, despite the band having thousands of pounds worth of equipment stolen. Last Wednesday, the Rotherham based band had their van and equipment pinched, including thousands of pounds of irreplaceable gear.

The band, however, have vowed that show will still take place. Thanks to a lot of borrowed equipment and help from a few friends, Hey Sholay will be on stage at the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen at about 9:30pm. Support comes from China Rats and Must.

The transit van, license plate ML05KPP, was taken, along with the equipment, from outside their practice room in Rotherham on the afternoon of Wednesday 5th Decemeber.

A full list of the items stolen looks like this:

juno 60, 2 vox ac30 amplifiers, 1 ampeg valve head and Trace Elliot cab. Fender 1952 telecaster, gibson sg - heavily customised es335 with 'rosie' laquered to it, custom electronics, epiphone lucille with microphone input. 4 Kaoss pads, 4 pedalboards all customised with various boutique pedals. Pearl export drumkit and sabian cymbals. Korg ms2000b synthesizer, cased, three stands, trace elliot bass cab.

Hey Sholay ask that if anyone has any information or seen anything like this, that they contact Rotherham Police.

For more information, check the band's website here.
